Feeding with onion husks stimulates growth, flowering and greening of plants. Such feeding is much more effective and useful and is significantly different from purchased chemical preparations. You can prepare it at home, and you hardly need to spend money for this.
Preparation of solution for feeding
- Boil a liter of water, fill with the skins of 3 large onions, press well so that the water covers it and bring to the boil again.
- Then put mandarin peels removed from 3-4 fruits and several beet peels removed into the broth.
- Remove the finished vegetable broth from the heat and leave it to cool completely.
It is necessary to use this top-up while it is still warm.
Please note that it is not stored, but a new portion is always prepared for feeding.
Water all houseplants without exception with such a decoction periodically: in the warm season – 2 feedings per month, and in other months – 1 time.
